Children’s Illustrated Book: Winifred Radcliffe The Saint’s Garden Illustrated by Charles Robinson First Edition Book 1927
The First Edition has for sale the first edition of The Saint’s Garden by author Winifred Radcliffe and illustrated by Charles Robinson.
This first edition book was published by the Society For Promoting Christian Knowledge in 1927 and on its original green boards has a stamped decoration to the front board and gilt lettering border decorations to the spine.
The boards are in Very Good condition with knocks to the top and bottom of the spine; and partial fading to the back board.
There are 150 numbered pages containing 8 wonderful black and white illustrations by Charles Robinson, of which 3 are double page illustrations. The pages are in overall Very Good condition being very clean and tightly bound in, with spotting to the endpapers.
This is a very attractive and collectable Charles Robinson first edition children’s illustrated book of The Saint’s Garden.
